Studio: Büro North Interdisciplinary Design

Client: University of Tasmania

Büro North were engaged by the University of Tasmania (UTAS) to develop a wayfinding solution for The Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), designed by John Wardle Architects, in association with Terrior. Our design response involved a highly integrated signage and environmental graphic solution to match the crafted architecture and sensitive context. The marine environment was a key driver for the environmental design response, used to create a unified visual language and to identify different spaces within the building.
