Grin Creative was commissioned to rejuvenate this series of books aimed at the young teenage market – 12 to 15-year-old boys specifically. A selection of repeated gestural marks, vibrant colour and photography that encouraged reader identification gave The Legends series strong branding across all books linking them closely to each other. This branding facilitates the idea of collecting the whole range, something that would appeal to the target age group. Graphically, the imagery is bold and simple, yet emotive enough to represent a familiar passion about the sports covered.
